The Assembly Line
A great idea came around in the early 1900’s. Henry Ford
came about the idea of the assembly line, a way to make supplies quicker than before.
Before, each worker would have to make each part and put each part together.
Now with this new assembly line idea, one worker would do the same thing and
not have to change jobs. They would do the same process and then pass it along
to the next worker who would do their process. This idea is important because it
is still utilized today. Most factories today use an assembly line to make
their products more efficiently and cheap to produce.
